I had a fun playing with my camera the other day - these are a few pictures that I took that I reather liked. They are not really of anything in particular but just some random images.

maybe the wait was worth it.....
The other day when we went to the GOMA exhibit, one of my friends I went with really wanted to go into the room full of purple balloons. It was another wet school holiday day so there were lots of people and we ended up waiting about 45 mins to get in there, for just 2 minutes. I have to admit it was a fun 2 minutes and it made me feel like a kid again. How much fun running through so many balloons, bouncing them, pushing them, getting covered by them. How fun that the artist found a way for their art to be so much more sensory than just visual. Makes you inspired to see how you can be creative and engage many of the senses |

creative inspiration in soggy Brisvegas
A few of us from my art group decided to go to Brisbane for the day to see the GOMA exhibition of the first decade of art.
It was a wet day in Brisy, which is nothing unusual for the last few months it has been so wet. I took a few photos from the ferry we caught into the city. I thought it was interesting that we were all drawn to the old customs building in the middle of all the modern buildings that crowd around it.
I also loved the lovely frangapani flowers outside the gallery.
